1-      General Policy
 

Air Brake Course Student Fees – (fees are subject to change without notice)

• $250.00 per student plus 5% gst -  for courses located within 40 kms of Instructors Residence.

 

• $325.00 per student plus 5% gst – “Travel Rate” - for all courses that require travel by an Instructor. Fee includes all travel expenses for Instructor(s) such as hotels, ferry, meals, mileage etc. All courses subject to “Travel Rate” will be based on a minimum # of students as per the Course Confirmation Agreement

 

• No person other than the assessment officer and student performing a practical assessment will be permitted inside the vehicle during the assessment process.

 

• Refunds will not be provided for any student who attends a course and fails to complete either the theory or practical portions of the course or, fails to attend for their practical or written assessments.

 

• A minimum charge of $50.00 (plus all travel expenses if applicable), will be charged for all subsequent practical re-assessments.

2-      Payment – Refund - Cancellation Policy

• Fire Department Payments

Fire Departments will be invoiced at the conclusion of courses for all students registered and taking part in the course. Payment can be by cheque or e-transfer to fireprotraining@gmail.com

 

• Fire Department Cancellations

Fire Departments will not be charged for members who are registered for a course but are unable to attend training due to unforeseen circumstances unless a course fee is based on a minimum number of students attending as per the course confirmation agreement

 

 

• Private Student Payments (Private students are students that are not affiliated with a Fire Department).

Unless agreed to by a Fire-Pro Fire Department Training staff member, private students must pay in full at least 72 hours prior to the course start date. Payment can be made by e-transfer to:  fireprotraining@gmail.com

• Private Student Cancellation / Refunds 

Refunds will be provided for cancellations unless a minimum of 48 hours notice has been provided. Refund requests must be in writing to fireprotraining@gmail.com at least 48 hours prior to the course start date.
